Connecting Multiple Calendars

One of our most highly requested features— you can now connect multiple calendars to your Great AEP account!

Connect calendars from multiple jobs, work and home calendars, and more into a single availability view. This makes sure that meeting bookings aren't scheduled over any existing events across all of your connected calendars.

Connect a Secondary Calendar

For instructions how how to connect your first calendar to your Great AEP accounts, click here.

To add a secondary calendar account, start by clicking Calendar from the dropdown menu at the top right of the Great AEP platform.

This will take you to your calendar account page. Click the Add calendar account button underneath your list of connected calendars.

Then, select the email provider of the calendar you'd like to connect.

After selecting your email provider, you'll be redirected to a page requiring you to grant Great AEP access to your calendar.

Click the checkbox next to "I agree to the Cronofy Terms of Service and Privacy Policy". Then, click the black button to successfully link your account.

You'll then be walked through the steps specific to your email provider to sign in and connect your account. Depending on your email provider, follow the steps that appear.

Once you've completed sign-up, you'll be directed back to the Great AEP Calendar page, where you can view your new connected calendar accounts.

Set a Primary Calendar

While you may connect multiple calendars to your Great AEP account, only one calendar may be designated as your "Primary" calendar.

All meetings and calendar events created by Great AEP will be written to this primary calendar.

To set your primary calendar within Great AEP, head to the Primary Calendar section on the main calendar page.

Click the toggle button to the left of the email that you'd like to set as your primary calendar. Then, click the blue Set Primary Calendar button to set that email as your primary calendar.

The page will refresh, and a pop-up will appear on the top of the screen confirming that you've successfully updated your primary calendar.

Set Availability

After you've connected a new calendar to your account, don't forget to set your account availability! Your availability Settings is what Great AEP will reference when scheduling meetings to your calendar.

Start by navigating to the Availability page within your Great AEP account settings.

In the Included Calendars box, click the '+' button to the right of your calendars list.

A dropdown will appear. Check the boxes next to the calendars that you'd like to include in your availability schedule. If you select a calendar, those calendar events will be factored into your meeting availability.

To remove a calendar from your availability, click the X next to the calendar.

Don't forget to click the blue Save button at the bottom of your page to save your preferences.

Remove a Calendar

To remove a calendar from your account, first head to the Calendar page within your Great AEP account. Under the list of connected Calendar accounts, click the gray Edit account text at the bottom right.

Next, click the X button to the left of the calendar account that you'd like to remove.

That's it! Your selected calendar account will now be removed from your Calendar list.

Note: If you removed the Primary calendar associated with your account, another listed account will automatically be assigned as the primary account.

Select Which Calendar an Event References

You can select which calendars a specific event references as well.

To do this, start by clicking Campaigns in the top navigational bar of your screen.

Locate the campaign that you'd like to adjust availability for, and click View.

The campaign information page will appear. Click the Availability Rules tab.

This will open the availability page for this campaign. Follow the instructions in the "Set Availability" section above to set your availability preferences for this campaign.

Don't forget to click the blue Save button at the bottom of your page to save your preferences.
